The Jewish Renaissance Foundation (JRF) is a non-profit, non-sectarian organization founded by individuals who feel compelled to act upon the teachings of the Jewish faith. We believe as citizens in a democratic society, we must respond to the needs of our neighbors and share our talents and resources. The JRF is committed to helping individuals/families become healthier and stronger.
Services
- Primary care: annual physicals, blood draw for samples, laboratory services, pediatrics, gynecology (PAP smear), acute & chronic health management, referral to specialists
- Mental Health Services:
- Individual counseling services for adolescents/teens and adults
- Teletherapy (virtual therapy)
- Specialize in anxiety, depression, behavior issues, ADHD/ADD, adjustment issues, life transitions, mood disorders, relationship issues, self-esteem, school issues, parent coaching, grief, and trauma
- Free, personalized assistance with applying for NJ Family Care and/or enrolling in Affordable Care Act coverage through the Healthcare Marketplace
- Dental care
- Dental exams, cleanings, fillings, fluoride treatments, simple extractions
- Gum disease treatment, non-molar root canal therapies, radiography
- Crowns, dentures, and tooth replacements
- Referrals for surgical care and complex diagnostic testing
Languages
- Translation services available for ALL languages to ensure effective and accurate communication of medical care
Patient eligibility
- Primary care and mental, substance abuse, and dental health services are offered for all age groups regardless of their ability to pay or insurance status
- Sliding fee scale will be used to determine patient’s eligibility for government programs such as Medicaid and uncompensated care
- Patients with family income and family size are at or below 100% of the federal poverty guidelines (FPG) are offered a 100% discount with the exception of a nominal fee
- For uninsured self-pay patients whose family income and family size classify those as being above 100% but below 200% of the FPG are given a partial discount on services
- Patients eligible for uncompensated care whose family income and family size classify those as being above 100% but below 250% of the FPG are given a partial discount
- Uninsured self-pay patients with family income and family size above 200% of the FPG are not eligible for any discounts and will be charged the Full Fee for services provided
- They will be assisted in applying for NJ FamilyCare or Marketplace
